Congratulations to Catherine Quinlan from Dublin, who's photograph won this year's National Spring Clean community pride photo competition. Catherine won a weekend Break for 2 people at the 4 Star Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel.

Registration for the National Spring Clean is now closed. This year's campaign has been a huge success. Over 500,000 volunteers from around the country took part in this April.
 
We would like to thank all groups and individuals around the country for making this year's National Spring Clean campaign so successful.

Due to unprecendented demand we have run out of tabards, so unfortunately these can no longer be provided in clean-up kits delivered for the remainder of this year's campaign.

Minister for Enviroment, John Gormely TD today officially launched National Spring Clean Month. He was joined on a clean up organised by the Friends of the Grand Canal by politicians across parties. Also taking part were Jimmy Deenihan TD, Chris Andrews TD, Lucinda Creighton TD and Mattie McGrath, TD.

23 March 2010: Clean-up kits for schools
 
As schools will be closed between  29th March and 12th April for the Easter clean-up kits will not be sent to schools from now until the schools re-open. National Spring Clean packs will continue to be delivered to schools when they re-open on the 12th of April.
 
 
 
18 March 2010: Launch of National Community Pride Photo Competition

Model and National Spring Clean Ambassador, Sarah McGovern and Pat Oliver, National Spring Clean Chairperson launched the first ever Community Pride photographic competition as part of An Taisce’s National Spring Clean campaign for 2010. Individuals are being asked to submit photographs representing community pride and demonstrating the spirit of the National Spring Clean tagline “Working Together for Our Community”.  For more information visit our Competitions Page>>
