If you have registered already by phone or post and wish to post details of your event online, please fill in the online registration form and indicate that you have already registered for Spring Clean 2009 on the form.

Crossroads and Killygordon Spring Clean 2010

CROSSROADS and Killygordon Enterprise (CAKE) has designated Friday April 16, for a major spring clean of all main approach roads and bye roads in and around the two villages. The initiative is being run in conjunction with The National Spring Clean which aims to promote personal responsibility for litter and heighten awareness of litter and waste issues. It is in all our interests that we present our area to the highest of standards. CAKE appeals to all householders, business people, and schoolchildren to join with us in improving and maintaining our local environment, by making it a cleaner and more enjoyable place to live in. By doing so, it sends out a message that people do care and perhaps it might entice those who are littering our area to think twice before they do so again. Bags, gloves etc will be provided and, if for some reason, Friday April 16 does not suit you, the organisers can arrange a suitable date for you. Please check next weeks papers for further information.
